About Sergey McOway
Sergey Ivanovich McOway was born in 1951 in Kostroma.
He got higher Art-education in N.A.Nekrasov University of Kostroma (1968-1973 ). Sergey McOway started his artist-career in 1973. In different years (from 1974 to 1999) he had more than 70 different exhibitions in Moskva, St.Petersbourg, Dubna, Yaroslavl, Kostroma and other cities including 3 huge Government-exhibitions in Moskva, St.Peterbourg and Yaroslavl. He was also participant of different international exhibitions in Norway, France, Czech Republic and Poland. In 1999 he created 1st in Kostroma Private Art Gallery "Perpetuum Art". From 1999 Sergey McOway organised around 100 exhibitions of different artists, designers, photographers and sculptors from all around the country. In 2000 Sergey discovered a new direction in art and painting which he named "PixelArt". New direction is based on the author's modern vision of different people and nature around him. Artist mixes computer techniques and oil painting in his pictures. During 2000-2012 he painted over 100 portraits of different world's famous people, dissidents, famous for their progressive ideas, discoveries in science and art. From 2005 he became a member of International Creative Union of Artists. Pictures of Sergey McOway are in many houses and offices in Germany, England, Norway, Latvia, Russia and Poland.
